Ingredients of Rice Rava Upma

1 Cup Rice Rava
2 Tbsp Arhar Dal (Toor Dal)
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
0.5 Tsp Mustard Seeds (Rai)
0.25 Tsp Cumin Seeds (Jeera)
4 Nos Black Pepper
2 Nos Dry Kashmiri Red Chilli (Whole)
1 Pinch Asafoetida (Hing)
1 Sprigs Curry Leaves
0.5 Tsp Salt
0.5 Cup Grated Coconut
2.5 Cup Water

How to make Rice Rava Upma

Step 1: Heat oil in a cooker add mustard seeds, urad dal, cumin seeds, dry red chilli, curry leaves, hing, black pepper and saute them for a while;
Step 2: Add water, salt, grated coconut and allow it to boil;
Step 3: Add toor dal, rice rava and mix it well;
Step 4: Cover and pressure cook it for 5-6 minutes;
Step 5: Open the lid and mix it well;
Step 6: Serve hot.
